Course Description
Introduces the technical and expressive potentialities in printmaking. Students will have the opportunity to investigate a range of materials and techniques, which may include woodblock and linoleum cutting, collagraphy, monoprinting and combined media processes. Development of individual pictorial language follows a period of technical introduction and experimentation. Critiques and class discussion support student understanding of traditional and contemporary issues in the medium.
