Course Description

Explores digital video as a creative tool and provides a technical understanding of the video camera and non-linear editing. Students will have an opportunity to learn to manipulate the relationship between time, space and sound to create narrative, performance-based and experimental works. Projects allow students to investigate both formal and conceptual issues integral to the history, and contemporary practice, of video art and filmmaking.
