An exploration of major concepts in evolutionary biology. Topics may include transmission genetics, population genetics, natural selection, molecular evolution, speciation, and systematics. Theoretical concepts are introduced in lecture and then applied in laboratory using computer-based data acquisition and manipulation to visualize theoretical concepts.
