Course Description

An examination of the generation and function of the immune system in health and disease. Explores the development of the immune system at the molecular and cellular level and the mechanisms by which immune cells are regulated, collaborate and function to eliminate pathogens or cause disease. The laboratory uses current techniques to examine recognition and signaling following infection and the collaboration between cell types to generate a response.
