Exploration of dance in American musical theater. Students will have the opportunity to analyze exemplars of musical theater; experience elements of dance and strategies of improvisation; and apply choreographic tools and processes to create, individually and collaboratively, original movement studies and compositions. This is not a technique class. No prior dance training required."
