Course Description

This intermediate level science course investigates the sources and commercial production of energy, the energy needs of our society, and the impact of our energy use on the environment. The course encourages students to think critically about the harvest, use and conservation of energy. Through readings, problem solving, and project work, we will apply analytical and quantitative tools to assessing the efficiency and environmental impacts of various energy technologies.
