Course Description

A discussion and an analysis of current issues in British politics with an emphasis on the impact these issues have on the functioning and development of the British political system. Explores such topics as the roles of Parliament, cabinet government, the prime minister, political parties, and interest groups. Outside speakers who are active politicians and field trips to political institutions and events are an integral part of this course.
