Course Description
Designed to further develop reading and writing skills, and improve linguistic proficiency of heritage learners who learned Spanish at home or in their community. Stress on grammar control and expository writing, as well as implications of bicultural identity and recognition of regional linguistic variations. Students are asked to become familiar with grammatical terminology and also learn how to use writing conventions in Spanish. Students have the opportunity to develop oral and written Spanish for academic and professional contexts.
