Program Description
The Certificate in Religion, Ecology, and Justice provides training in understanding and analyzing the intersections of religion, ecology, and justice. Students explore how to promote faith-based environmental justice work both within and outside the larger church. Drawing upon the Theological School’s core curriculum, this program is available as a stand alone graduate certificate and may also be completed concurrently with a graduate degree for currently matriculated Drew masters students.
Requisites
Students in the Religion, Ecology, and Justice certificate program (ECOR) complete 15 credit hours through the following courses: | |||
1. Required Courses (6 credits)
II. Electives (9 credits)Nine credits with an ECO attribute from any subject area in the Theological School, Caspersen School, or College of Liberal Arts. Students are required to take courses from at least two subject areas. |
