Students may choose to pursue a particular interest and explore a secondary area beyond their major through a minor. Minors are not required for graduation. Minors are typically a minimum of 20 credits with no more than 4 credits at the introductory level. Courses taken for the minor may also be applied to satisfy other graduation requirements; however, only a maximum of 8 credits may be shared between the major and the minor.

Students must formally declare a minor before their last term at Drew. A student's minor GPA must be at least 2.0 to graduate with the minor.
