Course Description

Examines the current state of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology through reading and discussion of primary research articles and accounts of advances in the popular media. Students must write a mock grant proposal and participate in a funding meeting for the proposals. Additionally, students must pass a comprehensive oral examination administered by the biochemistry directors and advisory committee members.
