Course Description

The second of a two-course sequence examining the structure and function of specific biological systems in vertebrate organisms, with a particular focus on mammals. Includes an overview of system function at a biochemical and biophysical level, and the regulation and integration of multiple physiological systems within the whole organism. Primary focus will be on the endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, immune, digestive, reproductive, and urogenital systems.
