This course is required of and restricted to first-year Civic Engagement Scholars in both the fall and spring semesters. Focuses on topics and skills important to effective civic engagement such as goal setting, working effectively in groups, understanding your leadership style, reflecting on community service, event planning and marketing, motivating and managing volunteers, and others as the needs of the group dictate. Course may be repeated.
