Course Description
Focuses on in depth study of learning and cognitive theories and the application of psychology to the learning processes. Related topics to be explored include but are not limited to child and adolescent development, culture and diversity, cognition, effective learning environments, motivation, assessment, etc. Connections among a variety of disciplines are stressed, as well as links to the practical use of the various learning and development theories as they apply to real life in and beyond the classroom.
