Designed to improve students' accuracy and command of advanced grammatical and lexical modes in Spanish resulting in more precise articulation of ideas and opinions and other forms of self-expression, as funneled through the vocabulary, idiomatic usage, and grammatical applications characteristic of the Spanish used in the workplace and across professional fields in the U.S., including medical and business. Emphasizes proportionately the four skills of speaking, writing, reading, and listening as building blocks for enhanced communication across different situational, real-life, and cross-cultural professional contexts. Engages with the most contemporary source materials, internet sources, and other technologies. Activities may include debates, speeches, interviews, reports, conversations, and role-plays.
