Requirements for the Minor (20 credits)


In courses that do not thematize the Holocaust exclusively, students are required to focus on the Holocaust in papers, presentations, or other course components where students have the choice of topics.

I. Core (12 credits)

Complete 12 credits from the following:

  • course - Perspectives on the Holocaust

  • course - Europe, 1914-1945: The World Wars and the Great Dictators OR course - The Jewish Experience: An Introduction to Judaism OR course - Modern Jewish History

II. Electives (8 credits)

  • course - Topics in Holocaust Studies

  • course - Independent Study in Holocaust Studies

  • course - Selected Topics in Jewish Studies (when topic appropriate)

  • course - Ethics and Society

  • course - International Human Rights

  • course - Seminar in Social Issues of Psychology (when topic appropriate)
