Teaches programming in R and Shiny, and the necessary skills to perform text mining. Topics may include computation in R, R data types, installing and using packages, importing and exporting data, control flow, functions, and graphics in R, statistics in R, text mining basics such as corpora, term document matrices, document cleaning, clustering, and phrase mining, building basic Shiny apps, Shiny functions, Shiny reactions, sharing Shiny apps, static content and style sheets in Shiny (as time allows).
